Approximately 3,000 Valley food and beverage enthusiasts attended this culinary wonderland on Labor Day 2013 at the 9th annual Phoenix Cooks! They tasted, sipped, and socialized with more than 50 of the best local chefs and restaurants providing unique delicacies found exclusively in our backyard. With more than 30 wine, beer and mixology sampling booths, Phoenix Cooks! is sure to quench your thirst. Attendees learned from the experts through Phoenix Cooks! cooking classes to become master chefs at home. They watched the experts as they prepared their specialty dishes live and competed in duels, all heating up four cooking stages. What Are the Event Times?
The 2013 event was on Saturday, August 31st from 10am – 3pm.
How Much Are Tickets?
Advance tickets were $75/adult and $90/adult at the door. See Purchase Tickets for more information. Ticket pre-sale ended at 5pm on Friday, August 30th.
Do you sell a Designated Driver ticket?
Yes, Designated Driver tickets were available for $60 each and $75/adult at the door. Designated drivers are NOT able to consume any of the wine, spirits or beer available at Phoenix Cooks, but can still enjoy the full festivities, including the unlimited food samples from more than 50 of the Valley’s top restaurants.
Do You Accept Credit Cards or Checks?
No, we do not accept personal checks. We do accept cash or major credit cards Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
What do I get for the price of my ticket?
Ticket prices include unlimited food, wine, beer and spirit sampling throughout the day. It does not include classroom tickets.
What are the Phoenix Cooks classes?
Phoenix Cooks classes are held in an intimate room for just 25 attendees. These classes give guests the opportunity to learn more about cooking, interact with Valley chefs and related topics. Classes are an additional $10/person in advance and $15 the day of the event. You must be a Phoenix Cooks guest, who has purchased a General Admission ticket, to attend the classes. These fill up fast to be sure to purchase your classroom tickets early.
Can I bring my child?
Although not recommended, children under age 6 are allowed only when carried by a parent at all times. Children between the ages of 6-20 are required to purchase a General Admission Phoenix Cooks ticket..
